Inaugural, free Red Stick Food Fest coming to Baton Rouge in May _lowres

Calling all foodies!

The Louisiana Hospitality Foundation announced today the inaugural Red Stick Food Fest. The event takes place 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, May 7 at The Lawn outdoor festival grounds at L’Auberge Casino & Hotel Baton Rouge.

The festival will feature live entertainment, menus from some of the region’s best restaurants and caterers, beverages, and local arts, crafts and jewelry vendors.

Admission is free, and all ages are welcome to attend. The event will be held rain or shine. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Louisiana Hospitality Foundation.

Feature food vendors include 18 Steak, Acme Oyster House, Blend, Galatoire’s Bistro, Juban’s, Ruffino’s, Walk-On’s, Wow Café American Grill & Wingery, and Zea Rotisserie & Grill.

Radio legends Walton & Johnson from The Eagle 98.1 will be on site for a public appearance.

The festival is sponsored by L’Auberge Casino & Hotel Baton Rouge, The Advocate, Coca-Cola, Coors Light, Dos Equis, Stella Artois, the Louisiana Restaurant Association’s Baton Rouge Chapter, Visit Baton Rouge, Capitol City Produce and Kleinpeter Dairy.
