A Baton Rouge restaurant and an Arnaudville brewery are teaming up for a beer dinner next week.
The dinner features five courses paired with a Bayou Teche beer. Check out the menu below.
To start, the dinner will feature a red ale beer cheese soup served with Arbre De Vie, an applewood smoked ale that has been aged in Buffalo Trace barrels. The second course is pickled shrimp tacos with a cabbage and roasted corn slaw, paired with the farmhouse ale Courir de Mardi Gras.
Smoked scallops paired with the smoked wheat ale Boucanee will be served for the third course. For the fourth course, the brewery’s Belgian style ale Cocodrie will be paired with a sautéed veal liver.
For dessert, a pork belly waffle will be served with Miel Sauvage, a honey ale that has been aged 100 days in Jack Daniel’s barrels.
