DETAILS: The evening will begin with a reception at 6:30 p.m. followed by a presentation from Fit Lab Fitness owner and licensed personal trainer Britney Temple at 7 p.m. Also featured will be makeup tips from U-WINK owner LaTrice Pinkins, post-mastectomy care information from Phyllis Sales, owner of Still Me Boutique, as well as door prizes. Seating is limited to 20 guests. SurviveDAT, a program that provides access to local and national support groups, health information and more for survivors between the ages of 18 and 44 and their caregivers, was recently launched by Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center and LSU Health Sciences Center School of Public Health.
Peanut Butter Cup
We’re not talking about chocolate and peanut butter!
WHAT: 10/31 Consortium’s third annual Peanut Butter Cup Mini-Golf Tournament.
WHEN: 6 p.m. Thursday.

DETAILS: Teams are four people or less, and registrants can be placed on a team if needed. Tickets include 18 holes of mini-golf, 20 tokens for games inside and passes to two other attractions. Prices are $25 for members, $31 for nonmembers, $15 for children 12 and under, and $200 to sponsor a hole. Trophies will be awarded. Attendees are asked to bring a nonperishable food item for the Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank to be entered into the door prize drawing. The local Halloween club hosts the Baton Rouge Halloween Parade and donates annual proceeds to Our Lady of the Lake Children’s Hospital.
