The LSU Museum of Art will host a French Culinary Series in conjunction with its upcoming exhibition, “Toulouse-Lautrec and La Vie Moderne: Paris 1880-1910.”

Enjoy three evenings of French wine with food pairings in the LSU Museum of Art’s galleries on the fifth floor.

Relax as chefs from local French restaurants guide you through a variety of wine and food pairings. At 6 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 17, the chef from Galatoire’s Bistro, celebrated for serving the finest French Louisiana cuisine, will work from dry to sweet with white wines and progressing from light to full-bodied with red wines.

Another dinner will be held Thursday, Oct. 15 (the chef has not yet been announced). On Nov. 5, Stephanie Bueche Hansen, of Les Amis Bake Shoppe, a boutique bakery specializing in freshness and flavor, will serve handmade-from-scratch delicacies.

The three-night series is $100 for museum members and $110 for nonmembers.
