More than 3,050 square yards of carpet, 1,750 square yards of sheet vinyl, and 3,350 square yards of resilient tile flooring are headed for the East Baton Rouge Parish Bluebonnet Regional and Delmont Gardens branch libraries.
Bluebonnet will be closed for a few weeks beginning Thursday, and Delmont Gardens will close beginning Jan. 18 for a few weeks so that workers can remove old flooring, move shelving, and install new flooring.
Look for special nature-themed designs in each children’s area. Since opening in 2005, more than 1.4 million patrons have walked through the doors at the Delmont Gardens branch, and more than 5.2 million have visited the Bluebonnet branch since it opened in 1993.
