A ton of beer is coming to the Baton Rouge River Center in February.

Baton Rouge On Tap, a new beer festival, will bring more than 100 craft beers from more than 50 breweries to the Capital City venue on Saturday, Feb. 13.

The event starts at 5 p.m. Tickets start at $45 and are on sale now. Tickets will be capped at 3,000 attendees.

The event is a first for the city and is part of the larger America On Tap productions, which showcases craft and specialty releases from the country’s finest breweries at national venues.

Baton Rouge On Tap will also feature local food and music from Acadian Cajun Band. A full list of breweries will be updated online as we get closer to the event date.

In a press release, event executive producer A.J. Bodden said the city has a thriving craft beer culture, making it perfect for the event.

“Our aim is that the Baton Rouge event combine the best of the local and national craft and premium beer scene to deliver an unforgettable and authentic beer experience to our patrons,” Bodden said.
