Mid City Baton Rouge's annual art hop, White Light Night, is set for 6 p.m. Friday.

Art and music are the main attractions of the event, which stretches from the intersection of Government Street and Goodwood Boulevard to Government and 14th Streets. With all that cool stuff, you're going to need to grub, and the event is packed with food options.

Here are a few of my picks if you're in need of a good bite while attending the free festival.

BouillaBabes, the pop-up from Sydney Harkins and Jamie Brown, will set up at Studio C (3786 Government St.). Expect some easy grab-n-go eats and sweet treats that will likely make you smile, drool and order even more food from them. They're that good.

Curbside (4158 Government St.) is partnering with Calandro's Supermarket for a White Light Night bash that will feature more than 20 art vendors, music from the Josh Garrett Band, food and wine samples, and holiday cocktails. While you're there, don't miss out on the Tiger Tailgate, with whipped cream cheese, bacon jam and fried jalapenos. Get them with a side of truffle parmesan fries, too.

If you need a jolt along the way, head to French Truck Coffee (2978 Government St.). The new shop will showcase artists and music as well as its food and coffee. That New Orleans Iced Coffee will probably make you stay up all night, but it's good, real good.

Slash Creative, Giraphic Prints and Tim's Garage (4556 Government St.) will also have eats and drinks from Gov't Taco, Big Easy Cook Co., Secret Lair Taqueria and Pickle Block Coffee Roasters.
