Chef Jean French will demonstrate “Cooking with French Flair” when the Baton Rouge Unit of the Herb Society of America meets on Sept. 24.

The session will be held at 6:30 p.m. at the Ione Burden Conference Center, 4560 Essen Lane. The cost is $5 for guests; free for society members.

A native of France, the award-winning chef will prepare Tuscan seafood with angel hair pasta for those attending and talk about how he grows and uses herbs in his cooking.
