WHAT: McMains Children’s Developmental Center’s signature fundraiser, Sips & Suds at the Stables

DETAILS: The evening features food, wine, beer, Champagne, live music, live and silent auctions, a Kendra Scott jewelry pull, a wine pull, a whiskey toss and an exclusive look at the services and programs offered by McMains, a nonprofit pediatric therapy center. All proceeds benefit local children and families through McMains.
Angel Award nominees
WHAT: The Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Louisiana Foundation is seeking nominations for the 2018 Angel Awards
WHEN: Deadline for nominations is Friday, April 13
DETAILS: Now in its 24th year, The Angel Award program recognizes Louisiana volunteers who perform extraordinary work for children in need. The foundation will make a $20,000 grant to the Louisiana-based charity represented by each honoree. Nominators are encouraged to send supplemental information, including testimonial letters, brochures, news articles, photos and videos. These materials will not be returned.
