After "The Last Jedi," the "Star Wars" saga won't be leaving cinemas anytime soon. Here's a look at what other "Star Wars" are planned in a time and galaxy not so far away.
"Solo: A Star Wars Story," directed by Ron Howard and starring Alden Ehrenreich as a young Han Solo, hits theaters May 25, 2018.
J.J. Abrams will return to the director's chair for the final installment of the latest trilogy. "Episode IX" is due in theaters Dec. 20, 2019. Daisy Ridley, Oscar Isaac and John Boyega will star in the movie as well.
After the finale of the new trilogy, fans can expect a brand-new spinoff trilogy from writer/director Rian Johnson. Another "Star Wars" anthology film is in the works as well with writer Simon Kinberg attached. However, its plot and characters are under wraps.
Note that these aren't really spoilers, just fun facts about "The Last Jedi" and "Star Wars" universe. We also just want to make nerds gasp.
The production name for "The Last Jedi" was "Space Bear."

This year is the 40th anniversary of "Star Wars: Episode IV — A New Hope."
Cameo appearance rumors include Tom Hardy and British princes William and Harry. Carrie Fisher's beloved French bulldog, Gary, also has a cameo in "The Last Jedi," which director Rian Johnson confirmed on Twitter.
