Tin Roof’s beers will be the focus of a beer dinner next week in downtown Baton Rouge.
The local brewery’s main beers will be paired with dishes at Blend Wine Bar (304 Laurel St.) Wednesday, Sept. 23. Doors open at 6 p.m. The dinner starts at 7 p.m. Tickets are $60 per person. For more information, call (225) 757-5645.
The menu features dishes from executive chef Troy Deano and includes Tin Roof’s Blonde, Turnrow and Coffee Porter beers. Check out the menu below.
Hors d’ouevres: Pimento grilled cheese, cornmeal crusted Gulf oysters, and blue crab ravigote deviled eggs, paired with Blonde Ale.
First course: Louisiana pickled shrimp with fennel, cilantro and Franklin cane sugar, paired with Turnrow.
Second course: Iverstine Family Farms pork belly with Camellia red beans, sweet corn mash and baby bell peppers, paired with Juke Joint IPA.
Third course: Two Run Farm lamb with Iota sweet potatoes, queso fresco and Mita’s mole sauce, paired with Parade Ground Coffee Porter.
Fourth course: Old-fashioned waffles and ice cream with Steen’s cane syrup, paired with Voodoo Bengal.
