Baton Rouge’s Tin Roof Brewing Co. is turning five years old.
To celebrate, the Capital City brewery will release its seasonal Parade Ground Coffee Porter and an Oatmeal Pale Ale, the first in Tin Roof’s new House Beer series, later this month.
An anniversary party will be held at 5 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 19 at the brewery’s tap room at 1624 Wyoming St. The event will feature live music and food. The first 25 people will receive a special Parade Ground Coffee Porter limited release coffee mug.
Tin Roof co-founder Charles Caldwell said in a press release that the new House Beer series gives brewers an opportunity to shine and let their creative juices flow. These beers will be available only at the tap room and at special events.
The Oatmeal Pale Ale is a twist on the classic American Pale Ale, head brewer Alex Daigrepont said in the release, and features the fullness of an oatmeal beer with other smooth and toasty flavors.
The Parade Ground Coffee Porter, a fan favorite, is brewed with a special blend of New Orleans Coffee Company mocha and French roast coffee.
