DETAILS: Open to the public, the fair allows students to interact with admission representatives from a wide range of postsecondary institutions to discuss course offerings, admission and financial aid requirements, college life in general and other information pertinent to the college selection process.

Art Rocks party

This fundraiser kickoff sounds like a blast.

WHAT: Friends of LPB’s Art Rocks Party to kick off the 2011 Louisiana Public Broadcasting Art & Travel Auction.

WHEN: 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday.

SugarFest

It’s only right that this festival would have a sweet 16 party.
