A few Baton Rougeans are coming together for a beer dinner in early January.
Local brewery Tin Roof will host Dinner on the Deck at its tap room Monday, Jan. 11.
The five-course meal features dishes that will be paired with Tin Roof brews. In the kitchen are chefs Jesse Romero, who appeared on season six of “MasterChef,” and Kelley McCann of Galatoire’s Bistro.
The menu starts with oyster mignonette paired with the Blonde Ale, followed by citrus-poached Louisiana shrimp paired with Turnrow.
A “Geaux Local” soup made with the brewery’s latest house series beer, English Brown, will be served, followed by lamb two ways paired with the imperial black ale Rougarou.
For dessert, a parade mousse will be paired with Parade Ground Coffee Porter.
