Fall festivities and Halloween celebrations are here — the best of times for for those of us with a sweet tooth.
Yes, there is probably way too much candy in just about any direction you turn, but there are also wonderful cookies, cakes and lots of other delectable choices.
And, yes, you can make a cake in a slow cooker, just remember to lightly grease the stoneware and cook on high.
It’s not only fun to make but convenient because it’s ready whenever you or your guests are in the mood for a nice, warm treat.
Spoon your Halloween dessert into a serving bowl — there are plenty of fun ones out there — and decorate it with colorful sprinkles. It makes for a special party night or after-Halloween treat.
Then, just put your feet up and enjoy.
