Twenty senior members of Les Jeunes Amies de la Symphonie will be presented during the Baton Rouge Symphony League’s Bal de la Symphonie Dec. 19 at the Crowne Plaza.

These young women are the guests of honor Aug. 16 for the Les Jeunes Amies Fall Tea at the Baton Rouge Country Club.

Les Jeunes Amies is a service organization composed of high school girls who are the daughters and granddaughters of members of the Baton Rouge Symphony League.

During their four years in high school, these young women have performed volunteer service benefiting the Baton Rouge Symphony Orchestra and promoting the League’s mission of fostering music education through various projects, including Culture Camp and the Christmas Ornament Workshop.

They have benefitted culturally by attending Baton Rouge Symphony Orchestra concerts and participating in etiquette classes, brown bag lunches with the conductor, Timothy Muffitt, and “Meet the Orchestra” classes.

The young women to be recognized at the 2015 Bal de la Symphonie are Allison Reed Adler, Gabrielle Rene Bienasz, Olivia Hundley Bush, Kendall Dale Coffman, Kathryn Grace Craft, Allison Carolyn Edwards, Haley Sarah Farrell, Claire Anne Fisher, Tyler Elizabeth Hyde, Jessamine Elisabeth Parish Kitto, Eleanor Marie Koonce, Alexandra Nicole Mitchell, Isabella Wurzlow Nickel, Taylor Michelle Norris, Leslie Claire Purpera, Sarah Kate Reynolds, Avery Elisabeth Richardson, Megan Renée Stauss, Marie Elizabeth Wise Swain, and Katherine Drew Yegge.

Allison Reed Adler, a student at St. Joseph’s Academy, is the daughter of Suzie and Andrew Adler. Her grandparents are Kathryn and Roland Toups and Mildred Adler and the late Edward Adler.

Gabrielle Rene Bienasz, a student at Episcopal High School, is the daughter of Diane and Stanley Bienasz. Her grandparents are Frances Stoer, of Shreveport, and the late Ulysses Stoer and Harriet and Howard Knoll, of Chicago.

Olivia Hundley Bush, a student at Episcopal High School, is the daughter of Tanie and Bryan Bush III. Her grandparents are Melanie McRoberts and the late William McRoberts, the late Julia Bush and the late Bryan Bush Jr.

Kendall Dale Coffman, a student at Episcopal High School, is the daughter of Elena and Vernon Coffman Jr. Her grandparents are Lee and Norman Bercegeay, of Slaughter, and Jeron LaFargue, of Lafayette, and Mattie and Vernon Coffman Sr., of Lafayette.

Kathryn Grace Craft, a student at Christian Life Academy, is the daughter of Jill Craft and James Shannon and Bruce Craft. Her grandparents are Judith Leininger of Indianapolis, Indiana, and the late Vernon Leininger and Eva and Lewis Craft.

Allison Carolyn Edwards, a student at St. Joseph’s Academy, is the daughter of Leslie Edwards and Stephen Edwards. Her grandparents are Carolyn and Fred Lieux and Elaine Edwards and Edwin Edwards, of Gonzales.

Haley Sarah Farrell, a student at Episcopal High School, is the daughter of Regina and Angelo Farrell. Her grandparents are Elsie Boswell and the late Robert Boswell and Adele and Huey Farrell, of Metairie.

Claire Anne Fisher, a student at St. Joseph’s Academy, is the daughter of Michelle and Kirk Fisher. Her grandparents are Sue and Bobby Breau, Dianne and Doug Manship and Eileen and Harold Fisher.

Tyler Elizabeth Hyde, a student at Episcopal High School, is the daughter of Shannon and Thomas Hyde. Her grandparents are Drema and Rodney Sabiston, of Franklinton, and Robert Hyde, of Slidell, and the late Pauline Hyde.

Jessamine Elisabeth Parish Kitto, a student at Episcopal High School, is the daughter of Lisa and William Kitto III, of Prairieville. Her grandparents are JenAnne Coleman, of Monroe, and the late Bill Leonard and William Kitto Jr., of Meraux, and the late Pauline Kitto.

Eleanor Marie Koonce, a student at St. Joseph’s Academy, is the daughter of Edythe and Jeffrey Koonce. Her grandparents are Colleen Landreneau, of Eunice, and the late Rodney Landreneau Jr. and Mary Ann Koonce, of Kemah, Texas, and the late William Koonce.

Alexandra Nicole Mitchell, a student at Episcopal High School, is the daughter of Linda and Dennis Mitchell. Her grandparents are Gwendolyn and William Magee, of Bogalusa, and Lorri and Calvin Mitchell, of Deer Park, Texas.

Isabella Wurzlow Nickel, a student at University Laboratory School, is the daughter of Susan and James Nickel. Her grandparents are the late Claire Shaw and the late Granville Shaw and Yvonne Nickel, of Crowley, and the late Lloyd Nickel.

Taylor Michelle Norris, a student at St. Joseph’s Academy, is the daughter of Teresa and Michael Norris. Her grandparents are Marilyn Blagg Crake and the late Eric Crake and the late Robert Blagg and the late Jenny Norris and Gladden Norris.

Leslie Claire Purpera, a student at St. Joseph’s Academy, is the daughter of Wendy and Ronnie Johnson and Jeffery Purpera Jr. Her grandparents are the late Leslie Miller and Aaron Miller and Claire and Jeffery Purpera Sr.

Sarah Kate Reynolds, a student at Parkview Baptist High School, is the daughter of Marsha and James Baker and Dawn and David Reynolds. Her grandparents are Virginia McLamore, of Natchitoches, and the late John McLamore and Nelda Reynolds, of Houston, Texas, and the late David Reynolds.

Avery Elisabeth Richardson, a student at St. Joseph’s Academy, is the daughter of Wendy and Keith Richardson. Her grandparents are Linda Ward-Dalton and Albert Ward Jr. and Deetie and Clarence Richardson, of Denham Springs.

Megan Renée Stauss, a student at Episcopal High School, is the daughter of Jennifer and Edward Stauss. Her grandparents are Ursula and Lloyd Williams and the late Ann Stauss and the late Edward Stauss.

Marie Elizabeth Wise Swain, a student at University Laboratory School, is the daughter of Ann Wise and Thomas Swain. Her grandparents are Marie and Erbon Wise, of Sulphur, and Barbara Swain and the late James Swain.

Katherine Drew Yegge, a student at Episcopal High School, is the daughter of Paris and James Yegge. Her grandparents are Judy and Robert Fisher and the late Ronald Young and Jacque Yegge, of Cypress, Texas, and the late William Yegge.

Mary Jane Dillenberger is the president of the Symphony League. The 2015 Bal de la Symphonie Ball chairwomen are Maia Jalenak and Paula Davis.
