The Arts Council of Greater Baton Rouge's seasonal free concert series returns in October with a new location and six great shows. 

Sunday in the Park returns to downtown Baton Rouge on Oct. 1 with a performance from The Main Squeeze, a funk band from Chicago. The concerts will run from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sundays through Nov. 5. 

This year, the family-friendly shows will take place at the Shaw Center for the Arts plaza at 100 Lafayette St. Check out the full lineup below.

Oct. 8 — Souled Out 

Oct. 15 — Chris LeBlanc Band 

Oct. 22 — The Mulligan Brothers 

Oct. 29 — Universal Language 

Nov. 5 — 90 Degrees West
