Bettye and Andy Martin, both of St. Francisvillle, visit Highclere Castle in Hampshire, England, on April 23. The castle was used as the primary set for the popular PBS series 'Downton Abbey,' which followed the lives of the British aristocratic Crawley family and their servants in the early 20th century. The castle was the final stop on the Browns' 11-day trip to France and England. Their trip also included an eight-day cruise on the Seine River, three days in Oxford, England; and visits to the D-Day landing beaches in Normandy, the Versailles Palace and Blenheim Palace, the birthplace of Winston Churchill.
