We look for the “pretty” factor when it comes to Valentine’s Day table settings, dinners and the dessert. Certainly, there are tasty dishes that aren’t pretty, but it’s nice when all the elements come together.

There is definitely dessert — preferably one that doesn’t take a lot of time to prepare — at the end of my Valentine’s Day dinner. Who can go wrong with strawberries and chocolate for dessert?

Giving the chocolate time to melt is what takes the largest chunk of time with this Strawberries and Chocolate Creme recipe. A couple of hours is all that’s required. Time it so while dinner is cooking, the chocolate sauce goes into the slow cooker.

Have the strawberries cleaned and ready for dipping. When dinner is cleared away and you are ready for dessert, the sauce should be just about ready. Just stir the chocolate and marshmallow mixture together and dip berries. Simple as that.
