The Charity Ball Association of Baton Rouge will present 18 young women at its annual Le Bal de Noel on Dec. 29. The 2015 debutantes will be honored Wednesday at a French picnic at the home of Anne and Dr. Tom J. Meek Jr.

Debutantes are Anne Wilhelmina Boudreaux, daughter of Margaret and Emmett Boudreaux; Irene Riley Brooksher, daughter of Dr. Steven and Margaret Brooksher; Sydney Kathryn Rose Duhé, daughter of Staci and Craig Duhé; Francesca Alexandra Ferrara, daughter of Dede and Skip Ferrara; Anna Howell Field, daughter of Dr. Mark and Kelly Field; Sarah Elizabeth Grand, daughter of Stephanie and Trenton Grand; Mary Elizabeth Grey, daughter of Emily and Charles Grey III; Lillian Ann Johnson, daughter of Vickie and Trey Johnson; Caroline Jane Barbara Kerr, daughter of Eleanor and Pat Kerr; Madeleine Rae LeBlanc, daughter of Aimee and George LeBlanc; Anna Claire Maxwell, daughter of Susan and Billy Maxwell; Elise Katherine McCanless, daughter of Dr. Chris and Anne McCanless; Anna-Claire Shields Regan, daughter of Dr. R. Anne Wilhelmina Boudreaux, a graduate of Episcopal High School, attends LSU, where she is a member of Chi Omega Sorority. She is the granddaughter of Joanie and Allen Penniman and the late Mary Virginia Penniman and the late Ray and Carol Boudreaux. Her mother, Margaret Sterett Penniman Boudreaux, was also presented by CBA.

Irene Riley Brooksher, a graduate of St. Joseph’s Academy, attends LSU, where she is a member of Alpha Phi sorority and the Tiger Athletic Foundation. She is the granddaughter of Irene and Albert Briede, of Metairie, and the late Vera and Robert Brooksher Jr.

Sydney Kathryn Rose Duhé, a graduate of St. Joseph’s Academy, attends LSU, where she is a member of Kappa Delta sorority. She is the granddaughter of Kay and Norman Deumite, Mark Duhé, of Lutcher, and the late Yvonne Duhé. Her mother, Staci Deumite Duhé, was also presented by CBA.

Francesca Alexandra Ferrara, a graduate of St. Joseph’s Academy, attends LSU, where she is a member of Tri Delta sorority. She is the granddaughter of Monie Sabagh, of Baton Rouge; Saleem Sabagh, of New Orleans; Marilyn Ferrara, of Mandeville, and the late Frank J. Ferrara Sr.

Anna Howell Field, a graduate of University High School, attends the University of Alabama, where she is a member of Chi Omega sorority. She is the granddaughter of Judy and Terry Howell, of Southport, North Carolina, and Laura and James Field.

Sarah Elizabeth Grand, a graduate of St. Joseph’s Academy, attends LSU, where she is a member of Kappa Delta sorority, the LSU Student Senate, Phi Eta Sigma and Alpha Lambda Delta. She is the granddaughter of Anne Sonnier Calhoun and David Calhoun, of Lafayette, and the late Vincent Sonnier; Anne and Peter Karp, of Clarkeville, Georgia, and John Grand.

Mary Elizaabeth Grey, a graduate of St. Joseph’s Academy, attends LSU Honors College. She is the granddaughter of Mary Lynne and Frederick Huber; Dr. and Mrs. William G. Black, of Ponchatoula, and Susan and Charles Grey Jr., of Pass Christian, Mississippi.

Lillian Ann Johnson, a graduate of St. Joseph’s Academy, attends LSU, where she is a member of Delta Gamma Sorority. She is the granddaughter of the late Dr. William and Lorraine Bernard, and Sue Ann and Maxwell Johnson Jr.

Caroline Jane Barbara Kerr, a graduate of Episcopal High School, attends Sewanee, the University of the South, where she is a member of Theta Pi Sorority and the swim team. She is the granddaughter of Barbara and Eugene Owen, and the late Jane and Richard Kerr. Her mother, Eleanor Owen Kerr, was also presented by CBA.

Madeleine Rae LeBlanc, a graduate of St. Joseph’s Academy, attends LSU, where she is a member of Delta Gamma Sorority. She is the granddaughter of Sue Ann and Maxwell Johnson Jr., and Mona and Frank LeBlanc.

Anna Claire Maxwell, a graduate of St. Joseph’s Academy, attends LSU, where she is a member of Chi Omega Sorority. Virginia Kate Valluzzo, a graduate of Porter Gaud High School in Charleston, South Carolina, attends the University of Alabama, where she is a member of Chi Omega Sorority. She is the granddaughter of the late Mary Kate and Sheffield Clarke Spring, and Ann and Charles Valluzzo. Her mother, Mary Kate Spring Valluzzo, was also presented by CBA.

Amy Bartlett Van Burkleo, a graduate of University Lab School, attends Texas Christian University, where she is a member of Tri Delta Sorority, the Tri Delta Academic Team, Frog Camp Facilitator and Student Mobilization. She is the granddaughter of Margaret Bacon Miller and the late Abraham Pratt Miller, and Dorinda Van Burkleo, of McAllen, Texas, and the late James Van Burkleo Sr.

The Charity Ball Association was formed in 1959 by a group of civic-minded people who wanted to support the community by contributing to local charities. This year’s recipient is the Baton Rouge Youth Coalition. Association officers are Lisa Mayeaux, president; Patty Newton, vice president; Sandra Cox, secretary; Julie White, treasurer; Cory Leonard and Jennifer Ward, ball chairwomen; and Marcia Sanchez, debutante liaison.
