L’Auberge Casino Hotel’s 18 Steak and Sullivan’s Steakhouse will host Patron Tequila dinners.
At 18 Steak, 777 L’Auberge Ave., Baton Rouge, the four-course mixology dinner will begin with cocktails at 6 p.m. Wednesday, May 20. Hors d’oeuvres will be Maine lobster spring rolls with cilantro, house pickles and hydroponic bib lettuce. The first course will be soy and honey glazed pork with feta cheese, arugula, cherry tomatoes and crisp crostini.
A Louisiana five-pepper jelly glazed swordfish will be the second course, served with ceviche, avocado and smoked chilies. The third course will be chili-rubbed strip loin with roasted bone marrow, served with Mitaki mushrooms and spring onions. For dessert, a tres leches pound cake with hibiscus tea sauce, Mexican hot chocolate dipping sauce and a churro. Tickets are $125 per person, including tax, gratuity and a bottle of Patron. Sullivan’s, 5252 Corporate Blvd., Baton Rouge, set their dinner for 7 p.m. Thursday, May 21. The dinner will begin with a reception with Patron Silver margaritas, followed by a first course of pork belly tacos al pastor with quick pickled shaved cabbage and pineapple cilantro pico served with Roca Patron Silver tequila. The second course is a pepperjack tamale with corn elote, jicama and lime agave vinaigrette and Roca Patron Reposado. The third course will be a cocoa braised beef shortrib with black bean rice, charred green onions and mole negro braising jus served with Roca Patron Añejo.
Dessert will be a tres leches cake with dulce de leche sauce and a cinnamon sugar tostada, served with Patron XO raspberry mocha. Tickets are $79 per person, plus tax and gratuity. Call (225) 925-1161.
