LSU Theatre will open John Cariani's "Love/Sick" on Feb. 20 in the Studio Theatre in the LSU Music and Dramatic Arts Building on Dalrymple Drive.

The comedy, directed by Joe Carleton, is a darker cousin to "Almost, Maine." The story is a collection of nine slightly twisted and funny short plays.

Set on a Friday night in an alternate suburban reality, this 80-minute play explores the pain and the joy that comes with being in love. Full of imperfect lovers and dreamers, "Love/Sick" is an unromantic comedy for the romantic in everyone.

The show runs through Feb. 25 (no show on Saturday). Performances are at 7:30 p.m. with an additional Sunday performance at 2 p.m. Tickets are $12 at the LSU Box Office or at On performance nights, tickets will also be on sale at the Music and Dramatic Arts Box Office. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.
