Several Christmas-themed performances by area musicians will be performed at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 12, at the Baton Rouge Music Club's December program.

The group meets at the Woman’s Clubhouse, 259 T.J. Jemison Blvd., formerly East Boulevard. The performance will be preceded by coffee and socializing at 9:45 a.m.

Performances will include "Far Away We Come" from the Christmas opera, "Amahl and the Night Visitors," performed by Sam Irwin, Ken Nelson, Alexander Henderson and Jan Cox. The LSU Trombone Choir, led by Hana Beloglavec, will play a mix of Christmas and holiday songs.

Victor Klimash, Sara Ginn, Alexander Henderson and Jan Cox will present "Voci di Donne" (Voices of Women) and feature "The Place of the Blest" by Randall Thompson, and "Pueri, Concinite" by Johann Ritter von Herbeck.
