The Louisiana Sinfonietta, in conjunction with the LSU Composers Forum, will present a special young composers concert at 4:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 13, in the LSU School of Music Recital Hall, Dalrymple Drive.

The concert will spotlight the new music of LSU graduates and graduate students. Tickets are $15 and $5 for students and will be available at the door.

Featured composers will be Jingyu Xu, Terrell Jones, Niloufar Iravani, Austin Franklin and Southern University adjunct professor of composition Corey Knoll. Noted area performers will include soprano McKenzie Miller, cellist Susannah Montadon and international performers, double bassist Yung-Chiao Wei and pianist Chaoi Chou, as well as the Sinfonietta String Quartet.

Sinfonietta maestro Dinos Constantinides also will also have pieces on the program.
