Author Talk: 7 p.m., EBR Main Library, 7711 Goodwood Blvd. Author and storyteller Morgan Molthrop will talk about the pirate adventures of Jean Lafitte and his research and writing process. Molthrop has written books about Lafitte, Andrew Jackson and south Louisiana culture.
