Mom’s Chocolate Gravy

Makes 4 to 6 servings. Recipe is by Clark Rivers of Zwolle.

1/2 cup sugar

3 tablespoons cocoa powder

1/2 teaspoon vanilla flavoring

3 tablespoons flour

1-1/2 cups milk

Mix all ingredients except vanilla. Cook and stir constantly until bubbly and thickened. Remove from heat and add vanilla. Serve over hot buttered biscuits.
