Chili Beef and Beans
Serves 4 to 6. Recipe is by Julie Kay.
1 pound beef tips or stew meat
2 (15.8-ounce) cans great northern beans
3 stalks celery, chopped
2 onions, chopped
1 bell pepper, chopped
1 (12-ounce) jar chili sauce
1 (8.5-ounce) package ready whole grain medley rice of choice
1. Put all ingredients, except rice, into slow cooker and cook on Low for 6 to 8 hours.
2. If making this one without meat, cook on Low for 2 to 4 hours.
3. Serve over rice.
