Cane Pecan Sauce
Serves 4 to 6. Recipe is by Julie Kay.
1 cup cane syrup
¼ cup butter
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup pecans
1 pound cake
1. Put syrup, butter, vanilla extract and pecans into slow cooker. Cook on Low, stirring halfway through, for 2 hours.
2. Spoon over slices of pound cake.
