Grapefruit Blush Cocktail

Makes 2 servings. Recipe is by Teresa B. Day.

Crushed ice

½ cup bourbon

2 ounces grapefruit juice, freshly squeezed

2 ounces orange juice, freshly squeezed

2 ounces cherry syrup from can of whole dark cherries

1 teaspoon grenadine

Whole, pitted dark cherries and orange slices for garnish

1. Fill a shaker with crushed ice.

2. Pour in all ingredients, except for the cherries and orange slices. Shake well.

3. Strain into glasses over crushed ice.

4. Garnish with cherries and orange slices and serve chilled.
