Serves 1. If you have never thought of brown rice for breakfast, think again. This is a great way to start the day yet hearty enough for a late-night meal you can feel good about.

1 cup cooked brown rice

1/2 cup skim milk

1 tsp. cinnamon

1/4 cup chopped, small, fresh strawberries

1 tbl. slivered almonds

1 tbl. brown sugar

1. Combine all ingredients in saucepan and simmer for 5 minutes.

2. Cool for a few minutes as the sauce thickens.
