4 cups thinly sliced cabbage
1 cup thinly sliced celery
1 cup diced red apple, peeled or unpeeled
½ cup white raisins
½ cup walnuts or pecans
2?3 cup mayonnaise
2 tbls. milk
¼ tsp. salt
½ tsp. sugar
1?8 tsp. black pepper
2 tbls. vinegar
1. In large bowl, combine cabbage, celery, apples, raisins and nuts.
2. In small bowl, combine mayonnaise, milk, salt, sugar, black pepper and vinegar. Stir to blend, then add to cabbage mixture.
3. Toss lightly to coat well. Cover and chill thoroughly before serving.
