Stuffed Oranges

Serves 4. Recipe is by Julie Kay.

4 large navel oranges

1 (15-oz.) can fruit cocktail, undrained

1 (16-oz.) pkg. frozen peaches or 6 to 8 fresh peaches, peeled and cut

¼ cup slivered almonds

½ cup coconut

Whipped cream, optional

1. Hollow out large navel oranges and put into refrigerator until needed. Save orange sections for another use.

2. Place fruit cocktail, peach slices, almonds and coconut into slow cooker.

3. Cook on Low for 2 hours. Remove and spoon into hollowed out oranges.

4. If desired, place a dollop of whipped cream on top of each orange. Serve.
