Red Stick Farmers' Market
Chilin with cool summer dishes is the theme of this week’s Red Stick Farmers Market.
The weekly Fresh from the Market cooking show will feature cool summer fruits found at the Red Stick Farmers Market. Guest chef Wanda Calkins of BD Kitchen Co. will showcase late summer fruits in a fruit gazpacho, a fruit salsa and a refreshing fruit drink. The cooking demonstration will begin at 10 a.m. in the North Street seating area of Main Street Market.

Covington Area Market
COVINGTON - The Covington Farmers’ Market is open, rain or shine, from 8 a.m. to noon each Saturday on the side lawn of City Hall, 609 N. Columbia St. and from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. each Wednesday at the Covington Trailhead, 419 N. New Hampshire.
This week’s offerings include: tomatoes, squash, cucuzza, eggplant, beans, peas, damame, peppers, cucumbers, greens, mushrooms, peaches, locally raised meats and poultry, honey, herbs, baked goods and prepared foods.
