Serves 4 to 6.
4 large boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs
1 (8-oz.) container cream cheese and chives
1 medium onion, chopped
1 green bell pepper, chopped
1/2 cup apple juice
2 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
1. Put chicken breasts into slow cooker. Spoon cream cheese mixture over chicken.
2. Add onion and bell pepper. Pour apple juice over all.
3. Cook on Low for 6 to 8 hours.
4. When ready to serve, remove with slotted spoon and place on a bed of spaghetti, noodles or angel-hair pasta. Add crumbled bacon over all.
