I like the crunchiness of broccoli slaw. It’s a nice change from coleslaw and works well in many dishes.

If you’re unfamiliar with this versatile vegetable mix, it’s a blend of shredded broccoli with a bit of carrot and red cabbage added in, mostly for color.

It comes in a bag and is available in most larger supermarkets with the other bagged lettuces and slaws in the produce section.

In this recipe, the broccoli teams up with diced apple, sliced red grapes, fresh orange segments, Craisins and toasted pecans. You can use a light vinaigrette or mayonnaise dressing, but I prefer a splash of Briannas brand poppy seed dressing.
