Makes 12 wings.

12 chicken wings

Soy sauce

4 cups cooking oil

3/4 cup green onions, minced

2 tbls. vinegar

1-1/2 tbls. sugar

1 tbl. fresh ginger, minced

1 tsp. sesame oil

1 tsp. hot pepper sauce (optional)

1. Rinse, clean and drain chicken wings. Rub with soy sauce.

2. Heat 4 cups oil in wok to 280 degrees. Fry wings until golden brown, then drain and place on platter.

3. Drain oil from wok, heat together minced green onion, 2-1/2 tablespoons soy sauce, vinegar, sugar, ginger and sesame oil. Pour over chicken wings.

4. Add hot pepper sauce, if you prefer hot flavor.
