Pork Chop Gravy (or Sauce)

Serves 4. Recipe is from “Southern Sideboards” cookbook by the Junior League of Jackson, Miss. Recipe can easily be doubled for more servings.

3 tbls. ketchup

2 tbls. white vinegar

1 tbl. lemon juice

2 tbls. Worcestershire sauce

4 tbls. water

1 tsp. paprika

2 tbls. butter

3 tbls. brown sugar

1 tsp. salt (I use less)

1 tsp. prepared mustard

½ tsp. pepper

1. Mix all ingredients in small saucepan. Stir and heat over low heat until butter is melted and mixture is hot.

2. Serve over broiled chops or any type pork roast.
