Apple Green Tea

Serves 4 to 6. Recipe is by Julie Kay.

6 cups water

6 bags green tea

1 cup apple juice

2 tablespoons honey

1 tablespoon brown sugar

2 cinnamon sticks

1. Put all ingredients into slow cooker and turn to High for 2 hours. Turn down to Low for an additional 2 hours, stirring once during the simmering time.

2. Use a ladle to spoon into cup once heated to a warm enough temperature. Keep on Low or the Keep Warm setting for however long it is needed throughout the day. Remove tea bags before serving.
