L’Auberge Casino & Hotel Baton Rouge offered some sweet news Thursday afternoon.
The property announced that Tricia Nash would take over as executive pastry chef.
Nash has nearly 20 years in the culinary industry. She attended the Academy of Culinary Arts in New Jersey. There, she graduated at the top of her class as valedictorian.
Throughout her career, she has won more than 30 medals in international pastry competitions. In 2007, she was named the U.S.A. Pastry Chef of the Year by the American Culinary Federation.
Most recently, Nash worked as executive pastry chef at the Motor City Casino in Detroit. There, she oversaw 10 venues.
At L’Auberge Casino & Hotel Baton Rouge, she will lead pastry production in 18 Steak, Bon Temps Buffett, PJ Café, Stadium Sports Bar & Grill and at all banquets and events.
