Cheese and Tomato Pasta

Serves 6 to 8. Recipe is by Julie Kay.

1 (l-lb.) box ziti pasta

1¼ cups half-and-half

1 (12-oz.) can evaporated milk

8 ozs. Havarti cheese, sliced

1 cup colby cheese

4 tbls. butter

1 (10-oz.) can Ro-tel tomatoes

¾ cup Italian breadcrumbs

1. Cook ziti according to package directions on stove-top. Drain and remove to slow cooker. Add half-and-half, evaporated milk, cheeses and butter.

2. Cook on Low for 3 hours. Mix Ro-tel tomatoes and breadcrumbs. Top slow-cooked pasta mixture and cook for an additional hour on Low.
