Squash Stuffing Casserole

Serves 6 to 8. Recipe is by Julie Kay.

4 medium yellow squash, sliced

2 large onions, sliced

1 tbl. lemon pepper

1 tsp. onion powder

1 tsp. black pepper

1 (10¾-oz.) cream of chicken soup

1 cup sour cream

1 cup herb-seasoned stuffing mix

¼ cup butter, melted

1. Put squash and onions into slow cooker. Sprinkle with lemon pepper, onion powder and black pepper.

2. Mix together cream of chicken soup and sour cream.

3. Spoon soup and sour cream mixture over all.

4. In another bowl, mix together stuffing mix and butter and put over squash mixture in slow cooker. Cook on Low for 4 hours.
