Creole Popcorn

Makes 3 quarts. Recipe is by Cynthia L. Nobles.

6 tbls. unsalted butter

1½ tsp. onion salt

1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce

1 tsp. garlic salt

2 tsp. paprika

1/2 tsp. dried thyme leaves

1/4 tsp. ground black pepper

1/4 tsp. Tabasco brand hot sauce

3 quarts popped popcorn

1. Preheat oven to 350 F. In a small saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in onion salt, Worcestershire sauce, garlic salt, paprika, thyme, black pepper and Tabasco sauce. When mixture just comes to a boil, remove from heat.

2. Pour seasoned butter over popcorn and stir to coat. Spread popcorn in a baking pan and bake 3 minutes. Stir and bake 3 more minutes. Serve warm or at room temperature.
