'Classic Steakhouse Fare’ class scheduled
BD Kitchen Co. in Towne Center, will host a cooking class on “Classic Steakhouse Fare” by chef Joshua Hebert, of Barefoot Arts LLC.
The class is set from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Aug. 19.
The menu will include Caesar Salad, Horseradish-Crusted Filet, Garlic Mashed Potatoes, Roasted Asparagus and Classic Cheesecake.

Juban’s sets Bavarian Beer Dinner Aug. 20
Chef Jaime Hernandez and Front of House Michael Plauche of Juban’s will host a Bavarian Beer Dinner on Aug. 20. A reception begins at 6:30 p.m., followed by dinner at 7 p.m.
The menu will include: hors d’oeuvres served with Schonramer Pilsner; Duck Pastrami and Napa Cabbage Slaw served with Hopf Dunkel Weiss; Holstein Schnitzel Fried Cutlet served with Reutberger Josefi Bock; Venison and Fennel Sausage With Caramelized Apples and Onions and Local Red Bean Cassoulet served with Schonramer Saphir Bock; and desserts served with Hopf Helle Weiss. Cost is $60 per person plus tax and gratuity.

Whole Foods Market hosts Kids Dish class
Tracey Koch and Stephanie Riegel will teach a Kids Dish cooking class at Whole Foods Market on “Preparing Healthy After School Snacks.”
The class is set from 11 a.m. to noon Aug. 20 and is open to children ages 7-12.
