Poppy Tooker

New Orleans chef Poppy Tooker, host and executive producer of the weekly radio show "Louisiana Eats!" will appear at the Louisiana Art & Science Museum Thursday.

Tooker will talk about, what else, food, at the museum's "Art After Dark: A Feast for the Eyes (and All the Senses)" event from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., 100 S. River Road, Baton Rouge.

Guests can view new food-related exhibitions, take part in food-themed hands-on activities, sample food prepared by local restaurants and meet hosts from Baton Rouge public radio station WRKF 89.3, where Tooker can be heard at 1 p.m. Saturdays.

Members are admitted free. Admission is $8 for college students with ID and $10 for nonmembers. For more info, visit wrkf.org/.
