Culinary herbalist Sarah Liberta will lead a Feb. 7 seminar titled "Chocolate: The Herb of Romance."
The seminar will run from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at John Folse's White Oak Plantation & Farm, 17660 George O'Neal Road, Baton Rouge.
The program will explore uses for a variety of chocolates, including white, milk and dark; unsweetened, bittersweet, semisweet and sweet. There will also be a chef’s cooking demonstration, a tour of Folse's lush gardens and an herb-filled, three-course lunch prepared by Folse and his White Oak Plantation culinary team.
Participants can take home HERBS by Sarah articles, recipes and a complimentary herb plant for their gardens.
