Matt Canada and his fiancee, Erin Ann Buchanan, enjoyed quite a celebratory meal Monday night in Baton Rouge.

After the former Pittsburgh offensive coordinator was announced as LSU's new multi-million-dollar man, Canada and Buchanan capped off the big day with a feast at Ruffino's in Baton Rouge.

The couple started off its meal with a celebration salad and a lettuce wedge with blue cheese, said Howard Walker, the restaurant's director or operations.

From there, Canada had the special -- the Steak Vermilion, which includes two 4-ounce filet medallions topped with crabmeat. Buchanan had an 8-ounce filet.

For dessert, there was white chocolate bread pudding and a special 'Welcome to Baton Rouge' treat.

Now, if he can get LSU's offense humming like he did Pitt's, owner Ruffin Rodrigue might name a restaurant after Canada...
