Baton Rouge cook/blogger Jay Ducote will preview the food he’ll cook for the James Beard House in New York City later this month at a dinner/fundraiser Friday at the Louisiana Culinary Institute in Baton Rouge.
Tickets to the 7 p.m. event cost $100, and will benefit the LCI Foundation and the James Beard Foundation. To order, go to eventbrite.com.
Ducote will cook a tailgate-themed menu at the James Beard Foundation’s Chefs & Champagne event at Wölffer Estate Vineyard in the Hamptons on July 23. This year’s event honors fellow Louisiana chef John Besh.
