April was not a great month weight-loss wise, but it was a satisfying month nonetheless. I only lost one pound, but it was good because I think that overall I did a good job following through on my healthier eating habits.

Some friends have suggested that I do more resistance weight training to reignite the marriage of healthier eating and weight loss. So, I will be doing that.

My total weight loss since I started this effort is around 17 pounds or about 4 pounds per month. That’s not bad, especially since my goal is to lose 40 pounds by the end of the year.

I am still finding that my biggest problem is what to do with my mid-evening appetite. I should be eating more salads and drinking more water. Consider it done.

I predict that I will lose 3-4 pounds in May.

No matter what, it’s a struggle.
