DETAILS: THE PROGRAM SIMULATES ALL THE ACTIVITIES ASSOCIATED WITH ACTUAL AIR TRAVEL, EXCEPT TAKE OFF. FAMILIES CHECK-IN AT THE TICKET COUNTER, CHECK THEIR BAGS THROUGH, WAIT IN LINE AND GO THROUGH SECURITY, WAIT IN LINE AGAIN, MEET THE FLIGHT CAPTAIN AND CREW AND BOARD A PLANE. INSIDE THE AIRCRAFT THEY GET TO EXPERIENCE ALL THE SIGHTS AND SOUNDS, INCLUDING THE ENGINES RUNNING, THE LIGHTS, THE ANNOUNCEMENTS, THEY EVEN TAXI DOWN THE RUNWAY, BUT DON’T TAKE OFF. PROGRAM IS BY THE ARC BATON ROUGE, BATON ROUGE METROPOLITAN AIRPORT AND ENVOY AIR/EXPRESS JET/AMERICAN AIRLINES.
