DETAILS: The BelkGives on the Go Mobile Mammography Center, a 39-foot-long, state-of-the-art screening center on wheels, will offer free screenings to women 40 and older with no breast concerns, who have not had a mammogram in the last 12 months and who have a primary care physician. Call to schedule an appointment. Afterwards, women can receive a complimentary bra fitting in Belk. All screening exams are performed by Charlotte Radiology’s licensed, female mammography-certified technologists. A board-certified radiologist, specialized in breast imaging, will interpret the mammogram. Confidential results will be sent to the patient and her primary care physician.

WHEN: Saturday, April 9. Registration begins at 8 a.m.; walk at 9 a.m.
WHERE: LSU Old Front Nine, southeast corner of Nicholson Extension and Nicholson Drive.
DETAILS: Free skin cancer screenings will be conducted from 8-11 a.m. There will be music, food and fun activities until 11 a.m. The foundation was created in honor of Lauren Michelle Savoy, who died of melanoma in 2012 at age 27.
